How to close header menu bar to the upper content for all pages
Share
You have to set the style using the css file for removing the gap or extra design.
I added this code at the top of my home page content and it increases the gap between header menu bar and the first content of the page instead of decrease.
I want to make zero gap means no gap between the first upper content and header menu bar of the page.
And one more thing that this code did not get any change in other post pages.
You have to search the function wp_nav_menu() in your files. If you don’t find then you have to add that code where you required.
Actually I did not find that properly. I am sending you header.php file details so please check it and place your code where you are telling to paste.
<?php
/**
* The header for our theme.
*
* Displays all of the section and everything up till
*
* @package Uniform
*/
?>
<html >
<meta charset="”>
<link rel="pingback" href="”>
<body >
<a href="” title=””><img class="site-logo" src="” alt=”” />
<a href="” rel=”home”>
’primary’, ’menu_id’ => ’primary-menu’ ) ); ?>
You can find the code under header.php file of your theme.
Kindly let me know where can i put this function means where can I get this existing code so that can replace from your given one.
You can use the below function:
<?php wp_nav_menu( array( ’theme_location’ => ’primary’, ’menu_class’ => ’nav sf-menu clearfix sf-js-enabled’, ’menu_id’ => ’menu-primary-nav’, ’menu’ => ’Top Menu’ ) ); ?>
The above function can be used in the place of:
<ul class=”nav sf-menu clearfix sf-js-enabled”>
<li class=”btnclass menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-230”><a alt=”Home” href=”<?php echo site_url( ); ?>”>Home</li>
</ul>
Please let me know if this is right answer for you.
